-The Steelers' playoff hopes come to an end with a 13-10 loss to the rival Bengals.
-Another late interception by Ben Roethlisberger (above) sealed the loss for the Steelers.

-Joe Flacco threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns for the Ravens who defeated the Giants, 33-14.
-Peyton Manning (right) had 339 yards passing and three touchdown passes for the Broncos in a 34-12 drubbing of the Browns.
-Browns running back Trent Richardson (ankle), quarterback Brandon Weeden (shoulder) and cornerback Sheldon Brown (concussion) each left the game due to injuries.
-Tom Brady threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Patriots past the Jaguars, 23-16.
-Andrew Luck threw for 205 yards and a touchdown for the Colts in a 20-13 defeat of the Chiefs.
-Three touchdowns by Reggie Bush led the Dolphins past the rival Bills, 24-10.
-Bills tight end Scott Chandler left the game due to a knee injury.
-Two touchdown passes by Philip Rivers helped the Chargers defeat the Jets, 27-17.
-Christian Ponder threw for 174 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings who beat the Texans, 23-6.
-Texans running back Arian Foster left the game due to an irregular heartbeat.
-With 1,898 yards rushing this season, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson needs 208 yards to break former Rams running back Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record of 2,105.
-Aaron Rodgers threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for another score for the Packers in a 55-7 rout of the Titans.
-Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb left the game due to an ankle injury.
-Titans running back Chris Johnson left the game due to an ankle injury.
-Cam Newton had a touchdown pass and rushed for a score to lead the Panthers past the Raiders, 17-6.
-Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer left the game due to a rib injury.
-Russell Wilson had 171 yards passing and four touchdown passes to lead the Seahawks past the 49ers, 42-13.
-49ers tight end Vernon Davis (head) and wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee) each left the game due to injuries.
-Robert Griffin III threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Redskins past the Eagles, 27-20.
-Sam Bradford (right) threw for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Rams in a 28-13 defeat of the Buccaneers.
-A 20-yard field goal by Garrett Hartley in overtime gave the Saints a 34-31 win against the Cowboys.
-Defensive touchdowns by Zack Bowman and Charles Tillman led the Bears past the Cardinals, 28-13.
-Bears running back Matt Forte suffered an ankle injury.
-Talib Zanna had 12 points for Pitt in a 59-43 win against Kennesaw State.
-Jermaine Marshall had 15 points for Penn State which defeated New Hampshire, 72-45.
-Mark Lyons had 19 points for No. 4 Arizona in a 69-50 win against Miami, Fla.
-Jamaal Franklin scored 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds for No. 18 San Diego State which beat Indiana State, 62-55.

-Evgeni Malkin had one assist for Metallurg Magnitogorsk in a 5-1 win against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in Russia's KHL.
-Four Pittsburgh-area players were named to the United States' team for the World Junior Championship: Forwards Riley Barber, J.T. Miller, Vince Trocheck and goaltender John Gibson.
-Miller, a native of Coraopolis was named alternate captain for the United States' team.
Pirates/MLB-The Pirates will deal Joel Hanrahan (right) to the Red Sox in exhcange for outfielder/first baseman Jerry Sand and pitcher Stolmy Pimentel along with two other prospects to be named later.
-The Indians signed former Yankees first baseman Nick Swisher to a four-year, $56 million contract.
-The Mariners agreed to a $2.75 million, one-year contract with former Yankees outfielder Raul Ibanez.
-Former Blue Jays/Reds/Orioles/Cubs/Royals utilityman Ryan Freel was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot blast in his Jacksonville home.
